Hello all, hope you are well!

Things are busy here and I have begun plans for a Thanksgiving feast with my daughters, husband, brother and father. I am reminded of my many blessings, not just the big things like family and friends, but also the everyday mundane things that I often take for granted - today it was my washing machine (I can't imagine have to do ALL that laundry by hand - gag).

Here in the foothills of the Appalachian mountains, the air is chilly and the leaves are tuning spectacular colors!! Halloween is just around the corner!

A new & wonderful friend of mine (a great lady named Vilma from Examplars From The Heart - and an incredible designer) suggested that I put one of my freebies on my blog for everyone to enjoy. Hello all! It's been an incredibly busy start of the summer, but wonderful and fun, so I can't complain. Hello all! It's finally spring here in Ohio, although, now that I said that, we'll most likely get a freak April snow. It has happened before! But, for now, the birds are back, the flowers are blooming, the trees are budding, and I am smiling!

My name is Maria, and I'm a cross stitch addict.

I have been stitching for - oh, too many years to count - but am new to the designing world. I am so thrilled with the responses that I have received and have met some wonderful people along the way.

I live in a small town in the foothills of the Appalachian mountains with my husband and 2 beautiful daughters. I have a dog - Wilbur - and cat - Fuzzy - and way too many dust bunnies to name, let alone count.
