An Autumn Walk!

Hello!
I went for a walk around my house today with my dog, Wilbur. 
It was such a beautiful day!

 One red tree.

Love the red berries on the green leaves!

A confused dandelion.

My husband named this tree "Gary".
He did.
I don't know why. :)
I thought it was interesting that half still had leaves, and the other half was naked.

Beautiful red bushes.
Jim, that fence still needs work.

Yes, the sky was THAT blue. Crazy blue.

Aren't those colors amazing?!

 Back pasture with the red tree.

Yellow. Green. Red.

This is why it's called "fall".

Another confused flower!

And another! What are these little guys thinking? It was 40 degrees this morning! Of course it's still 70 during the day.

Puffy clouds and pines.
My husbands mother planted these pines in our yard when they were tiny and now they are at least twice as tall as our house!

A visitor.

Look who came to visit outside of our kitchen window this evening! 
Do you see her? 
Isn't she beautiful?
She visits in the mornings & at dusk.
She likes to eat the crab apples that have fallen off the tree. 
Occasionally a smaller fawn is with her. 

Makes me smile. :)

 My hubby found this amazing spider web.

 No wonder I'm sneezing but I still love the colors. Especially since soon it will be a black-n-white winter world.

Fuzzy follows along. Leaves are beginning to fall.

So sorry I've been away for so long! Things have been crazy and busy -  I'm sure you know what that's like!

I've been working on some Halloween designs and have a new design published in "Just Cross Stitch" magazine. So proud to be published AGAIN in such a wonderful magazine! My favorite. ;)

 I hope to have 3 new Halloween designs stitched and charted by the end of the week-end (I'll share some sneak peeks if I can get my camera working) and I'll letcha know when they are ready to jump out of the nest.

I really WILL try to post more often. I sometimes feel like I have nothing really cool cross stitch related, or even just interesting to say, so I don't bother - BUT I might broaden my scope to everything funny, beautiful, AND cross stitch.
