Wow, I'm so honored as these are my 2 favorite magazines on the planet! I've collected them for years. 

 I am stunned and amazed to be included in this magazine with such amazing designers as Blackbird Designs, Lizzie Kate, Plum Street Samplers, The Prairie Schooler,  La-D-Da, The Workbasket, oh... I could go on and on and on... so humbled... these are some of my absolute favorites!

New design in my "eXpressions" series! = )

Hello my friends!

With my daughters back in school, cooler temps (downright chilly at night!) and even the beginnings of leaves 
turning red in my yard, I've been thinking of fall!

As promised I have my newest "eXpressions" series 
design done and ready.

Halloween Fun!

Hey all! It's almost fall!

They're here! My 2012 Halloween designs!

Not much longer now... cooler crisp fall days with leaves crunching under your feet, pumpkins all decorated and glowing, hot apple cider, candy corn... I can barely wait! Especially since I "slept" through last October!

I'm Back! : )

Hello my friends!

I'm back up and running. Finally. Second computer virus of the summer has been repaired!

While it was down, I was able to squeeze in a short recharging trip to one of my favorite places on earth, Lakeside Ohio. 

I just LOVE the water and was blessed to spend some time with my family, float on some waves, eat a ton of ice cream, and, of course, get some stitching done.

In the next day or so I will have some Halloween designs ready so stay tuned!

Virus

Hello! I just wanted to let everyone know that I might be MIA for a bit.... I got the dreaded computer virus that was all over the news. If anyone is trying to reach me, please be patient, I'll be in touch ASAP... And hope to talk more to you all soon! ~M

~ SIGH~.... of Happiness!!!!!! : )

 Hi Y'all!

After 5 days... and temps very near 100 degrees for those 5 days... my power is finally back on!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Soooooo happy!

On a sad note - Friday - the catastrophic storms that hit much of the eastern US - came through my small neighborhood. I'd never seem anything like it, trees bent sideways.... 100 mile an hour winds... and lightening everywhere - many trees down...and once again the tornado sirens went off scaring my girls quite badly! 

On a bad note... Power went out... and stayed out for a loong time. Friday to Tuesday. Temps were (are) an unbearable near 100 during the day... 80's at night. Had to throw away 3 trash bags of food from my very warm fridge since I had just gone shopping.  Bummer! : (  Whole town was/is under a boil order and all stores were out of bottled water and ice.  (at least now we CAN boil the water)

On a good note - there was one night of candle light, cooler temps and a portable battery powered DVD player with my hubby & daughter where we watched "Apollo 13" (man, those guys had it bad!) and ate pringles. 

On a funny note - it took me 4 days to stop trying to turn on the light switch every time I entered a dark room - which was every time I entered a room! 

On a happy note - it's back on!!!!! Sooo happy. Thanks to all of you who left lovely comments and if I've received emails from you... I'll be in touch soon. Working my way down the list and trying to get caught up.

I never realized how much I love my 'lectricity... but I do! I'll try to remember to be grateful from here on out!

Hope you all are doing well, staying cool, and enjoying some electricity! I'm off to do a few (hundred) loads of laundry!

Hello my Friends!

I hope this post finds each of you well and happy!

Sorry to be missing for so long... but...

I'm happy to say that I've been able to finish 2 new designs in the 
last week while hosting my sister-in-law & niece in town 
from Orlando...while ALSO moving my 19 year old daughter 
into her first house. 

Happy and Sad at the same time - 

but my stitching has always been a great comfort!

She's settled in & happy & I'm already stitching new 
designs & happy!

BUSY but HAPPY!

Funny... but not so funny too...

Funny picture... but really an un-funny subject!

Not only the right thing to do.... the LEGAL thing to do!

You'll notice that many designers lately are standing up for their rights...

their copyrights.

We are tired of thieves "sharing" and selling our patterns illegally.
They don't seem to realize that if they keep stealing our designs...
they will put us all out of business.  
No new designs for anyone by anyone!
So sad.

A day late.... : )

Well....

Sorry for the lack of posts lately but.... this is taking forever to fix! : )

Life is GOOD!

Six months ago today my brain popped and I very nearly died. 

I'm happy to say that so far, my not new, but improved brain is holding up very well. 

Knock on wood! : ) It'd be just like me to jinx that. 

It's good to be alive!
